What is a Project Scope ?

The project scope defines the boundaries of the project. It includes what is in scope, what is out of scope and the objectives that guides the project from start to finish

Goals, Deliverables and Milestones

Goals: The high-level outcomes you want to achieve. A graduation project might have one main goal and two or three sub-goals. A real-world smart home project might have goals like "automate all lighting circuits" and "integrate HVAC control."
Deliverables: The tangible outputs you will produce at each stage. Examples include: a wiring diagram, a programmed ETS project file, a working demo, a final report, or a video walkthrough.
Milestones: Key checkpoints in the project timeline. A milestone is not a task — it is a moment where you can say "this phase is complete." For example: "By Week 4, all physical wiring is complete and tested."
